RANSOM TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A pair of Ohio men were involved in a two vehicle accident in Hillsdale County Friday which killed one man and injured the other.
The fatal victim was identified as 49-year-old Kim Cogswell of Montpelier.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office says Cogswell’s semi collided with a dump truck driven by 53-year-old Ronald Currier of Delta at the intersection of Pioneer and East Camden Roads just before 12 noon.
Currier was flown from the scene to Mercy St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo.
The roads were shut down for nine hours due to the accident investigation and the clean up.
The crash is still under investigation.
