KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — A second arrest has been made in the gun fight that resulted in the death of 30-year-old bystander Orlando Walker last July.
27-year-old Reginald Calvin of Kalamazoo is currently in state custody in Jackson for violating parole on a previous conviction. They are trying to decide if he will be transported back to face a judge, or just be video arraigned from Jackson.
A warrant has been issued charging Calvin for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and felony firearm.
Walker was shot once in the chest by a .22 caliber bullet and died. Calvin was seen firing a gun with a different caliber, and none of the bullets that allegedly left his gun during what police say was a a gunfight at Norway and Church St. hit anyone.
25-year-old Kenneth Langston, who was allegedly firing a .22 was arrested and charged with Walker’s death, and wounding a second man earlier this week.
Police believe there were others shooting that day and they are also being sought.
