COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Re-enacting the Battle of Perrysville will be among the highlights of this weekend’s 9th Annual Civil War Days in Coldwater. Friday was Education Day for 5th graders from around Branch County, as they toured the encampments and other displays at Heritage Park on Coldwater’s west side.
The event free to the public, running from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday. The Battle of Perrysville re-enactments will take place at 2 p.m. each day, with a Civil War dance in the large tent at Heritage Park from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday.
