LANSING (WKZO)– Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has been visiting Lansing, stopping by a plant that makes anthrax vaccine, and speaking to Republican groups after spending some time in Grand Rapids on Wednesday.
Gov. Bush told WOOD TV that the United States needs to “reengage in Iraq,” …not by taking a leading roll, but by becoming embedded with the troops to train them.
Bush says that the U.S. has to get involved in the battles in Iraq in order to defeat ISIS.
Bush has not yet announced if he will seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 but while he has been in Michigan two other republicans have jumped into the race.
Rick Santorum has just announced he will be running again for the Republican nomination.
The North Carolina conservative very nearly knocked off Mitt Romney in The Michigan Primary four years ago, which would have been a sizable blow to the Romney Campaign.
Santorum is considered more of a long-shot this time.
Former New York Governor George Pataki has also announced that he will be joining the ever growing crowd of Republicans running for President on Thursday. .
