PAW PAW (WKZO) — A 42-year-old Woman from South Haven is spending her Fourth of July weekend in the Van Buren County Jail after rear-ending a car stopped at a stop-light in the Village of Paw Paw early Saturday afternoon.
She is drying out after she was caught with an open intoxicant, a very high blood alcohol count and a suspended driver’s license because of a previous drunk driving arrest.
Her P.B.T. indicated a .39 which is nearly 5 times the legal alcohol level.
Deputies will be seeking charges of driving drunk causing a crash-second offense, being a super-drunk, driving with open intoxicants and a suspended license.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.
