BATTLE CREEK (WKZO)– A 34-year-old motorcyclist from Bellevue in Calhoun County is being treated for serious injuries at Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo after a collision near Fort Custer.
His motorbike crashed with a pick-up truck at the intersection of Dickman and Armstrong on Battle Creek’s Westside early Tuesday morning.
Police say that Randy Willavise pulled around traffic stopped at the intersection into the passing lane just as 50-year-old David Mabus of Marshall attempted a left turn, and the motorcycle crashed into the truck’s passenger side.
WIllavise reportedly suffered serious injuries.
The other driver was not hurt. It remains under investigation.
