COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s Veterans Day today at the 2015 Branch County Fair, which opened Sunday and runs through Saturday. The Veterans Day program at the fairgrounds in Coldwater begins at 6 p.m. at the Dearth Center and is hosted by the Branch Area Marine Corps League Detachment 763. The event is free although the Fair this year is charging all veterans the two dollar entrance fee plus parking.
Tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Amphitheater it’s the modified, two wheel drive and super farm tractor pulls.
The Republican Fair Booth question of the day yesterday concerned the Branch County Board of Commissioners identifying the County Jail as a priority and looking at whether to build a new jail or continue with repairs. Answering the question of whether or not the jail should be a priority 71 said yes and 15 no.
The question of the day today, “Do you agree with Michigan U.S. Senators Stabenow and Peters voting recently to continue funding to Planned Parenthood?”.
