CALVIN TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Sheriff’s investigators are trying to figure out what caused a semitrailer to jackknife on an icy section of Calvin Center Road near Bulhand Street in Cass County’s Calvin Township.
The driver, 50-year-old Darrin Curtis of Mishawaka, Ind., had to be rushed to a hospital with injuries after the wreck, which happened before 6 a.m. Friday.
Curtis was wearing a seatbelt. It’s not believed alcohol was a factor in the crash.
