COLDWATER (WKZO-AM) — We now know more now about the kidnapping suspect who allegedly led police on a two-county high-speed pursuit from Battle Creek to Coldwater late Sunday afternoon.
Joshua Miller, 31, was sought for allegedly holding an ex-girlfriend against her will for three days and nearly strangling her. He raced across the area at speeds of up to 130 mph and was finally captured after stop sticks managed to blow out one of his tires.
He has a prior criminal history that includes home invasion, aggravated stalking and domestic violence.
He was booked in Branch County for felony assault with a vehicle and fleeing and eluding, in addition to the original charges he faces, and new ones he may yet face in Calhoun County.
