ALBION, MI (WTVB) – Two Albion Public Safety Officers helped deliver a baby girl into the world on Friday morning.
The Albion Department of Public Safety reported on their Facebook page that officers Dan Riley and Kyle Wilson were dispatched to a priority one medical call at about 7:00 a.m. in the 900 block of Boyd Drive.
The officers found the woman was in labor and the baby was not going to wait.
Within minutes of their arrival the officers delivered a healthy baby girl.
Shortly after the baby was born Albion Community Ambulance arrived and took over the care of the new born baby and her mother.
The department says the last time two Albion officers helped deliver a baby was back in 2001.
