CAMDEN, MI (WTVB) – A fire which broke out late Monday night has destroyed a Camden, Michigan business.
It’s not known yet what started the fire which burned down Curtis Country Connection on East Bell Street in Camden. The fire was reported at about 11:15 p.m.
Over a half dozen fire departments from Hillsdale County as well as from Indiana and Ohio were called in to battle the flames throughout the night.
The web site www.buzzfile.com says the company primarily operates in the wood pallets and skids business. Curtis Country Connection was estimated to generate $1 million in annual revenues.
Chief Executive Officer Dave Curtis says no one was inside when the fire broke out and that about ten people were currently employed there.
Curtis Country Connection had been operating in Camden for almost a decade.
