KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Residents in the Kalamazoo area and throughout Southwest Michigan can give back by dining out on Thursday.
For its 10th year Dining Out for Life is underway. A time where about 36 participating restaurants will donate at least 25 percent of their food and beverage sales to a local AIDS service organization like CARES.
Kelly Doyle the Executive Director of CARES says their mission is to minimize further transmission of HIV in Southwest Michigan and maximize the quality of live for people affected.
The fundraiser for CARES is all day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at specific restaurants in Kalamazoo, Portage, Paw Paw, Plainwell, and Springfield.
