KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — With the season of Winter coming soon, Kalamazoo Valley Community College is inviting the public to participate in a free vehicle inspection event this week.
Faculty-advised students in the Kalamazoo Valley Auto Department will be on hand to perform the free checks during the event, which will include the following procedures:
- Check fluids and give advice on next steps
- Inspect drive train and tires
- Make recommendations for future service
The event will take place on November 8th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Texas Township Campus.
Participants should be aware that this is an inspection for recommendation event only. No servicing or repairs will be completed.

To reach the event site, participants are advised to follow the signs to the Kalamazoo Valley auto labs at the Texas Township Campus. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be served during the event.
