KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Earth Day is coming up on Wednesday, and in commemoration, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) will be hosting neighborhood cleanup activities across the city.
Residents are invited to join KDPS and other community volunteers to help remove trash, litter and debris, and there are multiple opportunities available.
Police say dumpsters, trash bags and gloves will be provided. Volunteers must supply their own addition PPE if desired.
Participating with KDPS will be the Northside Association for Community Development, the Vine Neighborhood Association, the Kalamazoo Eastside Neighborhood Association and the Edison Neighborhood Association.
