KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Parts of Nazareth Road in Kalamazoo Township are currently under a boil water advisory, the City of Kalamazoo announced Monday.
The City is currently working on repairing water infrastructure in that area, which will result in a temporary loss of pressure.
The advisory is precautionary only. Customers in the affected area are advised to use bottled water or boil tap water for two minutes before consuming.
It is expected to be lifted within 72 hours, or Thursday, November 25.
The affected areas are listed as follows –
- Mulhearn Avenue – Only includes 3223 and 3311 Mulhearn Avenue.
- Edna Boulevard – from the Ohio Avenue (western boundary) to Nazareth Road (eastern boundary), north side of the roadway only. Does not include 3335 and 3403 Edna Boulevard.
- Nazareth Road – From Edna Boulevard (southern boundary) to Borgess Drive (northern boundary), both sides of the roadway. Does not include 1946 Nazareth Road.
- Oak Tree Drive – Only includes 3515 Oak Tree Drive.
- Borgess Drive – Only includes 3608 Borgess Drive.
