EDWARDSBURG, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Here’s how not to use a roundabout.
The Cass County Sheriff’s department says 58 year old Thomas Yoder of Goshen, Indiana was traveling eastbound on US 12 at 7:50 p.m. Monday when his vehicle went through the roundabout at Old M 205 near Edwardsburg, crashing through a fence and then into the side of a building between 5 Points Road and US 12.
Yoder was transported to Lakeland Niles Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained from the crash. They say Yoder was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
A release from the department says alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation.
