BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — City crews in Battle Creek will be replacing a water valve, which will require a temporary water shutoff and a road closure beginning Friday, May 20.
Officials say the work will require temporary water shutoffs from 9 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., from May 20 to May 22, at the areas below:
- Country Club Drive, between Capital Ave. and Jennings Lane.
- Country Club Boulevard, between Capital Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.
- Capital Avenue, between Country Club Boulevard. and Williams Drive.
- Frances Drive, between Capital Avenue and Park Place.
They say also that city neighbors in this area should be prepared to be without water and for a potential boil water advisory when service returns.
Additional information will be made available to the media, and through the city’s website and social media, should it become necessary.
Door hangers were already distributed to the homes and businesses affected on Tuesday, May 17.
