LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – There will be only five Republican candidates on the state’s August primary ballot for governor.
The Michigan Supreme Court has rejected the lawsuit filed by Republican Donna Brandenburg seeking to get her on the August primary ballot in the race for governor.
Brandenburg was found to be short of the required number of petition signatures when the Board of State Canvassers ruled she and four others were ineligible.
The other four have also lost legal challenges. Perry Johnson is still asking the Supreme Court to halt the printing of the primary ballots.
