EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State is down five spots to 20th in this week’s college basketball Top-25 Coaches’ Poll. The Spartans slipped in the rankings after losing their second game of the season last week to Alabama. MSU is now 5-2 on the season.
The Spartans visit Notre Dame tomorrow. Houston is the new number-one team in the latest men’s college basketball Top-25 Coaches’ Poll. Texas is now second, followed by Virginia, Arizona, and Purdue.
In other college basketball action tonight, Michigan hosts third-ranked Virginia, while Central Michigan entertains Purdue Northwest. Tomorrow, Eastern Michigan travels to face Florida International, and Western Michigan visits Dayton.
