OTSEGO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Otsego Police Department has confirmed that Emma Jan Mendoza has been found and is now safe. She was identified and contacted in South Haven, and is currently being tended to by her friends.

The Otsego Police Department is seeking help from the public in locating a missing woman.
They say 35-year-old Emma Jan Mendoza, a white female, was last seen in the Otsego area at her residence by her son. She had left her home around 10 p.m. on Sunday to go to a convenience store and did not return home nor respond to calls and texts.
According to the Otsego Police Department, Mendoza’s vehicle was found abandoned in the City of South Haven near the intersection of Phoenix and Broadway streets. She is described as 5′ 3″ tall, around 130 lbs, and last seen wearing a pink or purple sweatshirt and purple overalls.
Police went onto say that her family had recently witnessed Mendoza acting bizarre and may appear to be confused and/or disoriented.
Authorities say foul play is not suspected at this time.
