SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A 54-year-old man from Mississippi was killed Friday afternoon in a four vehicle crash on eastbound I-94 near Albion.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says the crash involving two semi-trucks, a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle near 29 Mile Road was reported at about 1:40 p.m..
The fatal victim was driving the passenger vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup truck driver had minor injuries and the two semi-truck drivers did not appear to have any injuries.
Names were not released by the Sheriff’s Office. The fire and smoke damaged the overhead power lines in the area.
The eastbound and westbound traffic lanes had to be closed temporarily due to down power lines.
