BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kellogg Company is on the road to complete its upcoming split into Kellanova and WK Kellogg Company.
Kellogg Officials confirmed the split during its “Investor Day” on Wednesday, August 9.
According to Kellogg, both companies will be trading on the New York Stock Exchange, and existing shareholders would receive shares of WK Kellogg Comany.
WK Kellogg is set to be Kellogg’s food company in the U.S., Canada, and Caribbean, carrying brand-names such as Kellogg’s, Frosted Flakes, Mini-Wheats, Special K, and more. Officials confirm the company will remain in Battle Creek and is set to earn $2.7 billion in net sales in 2024.
Kellogg’s second company, Kellanova, located in Chicago and Battle Creek, will feature the brands of Pringles, Cheeze-It, Pop-Tarts, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats along with other familiar names. Officials say that company is slated to earn $13.5 billion in net sales in 2024.
