BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The two people shot and killed in Battle Creek on Saturday have been identified as 44-year-old Steven Cica and his 22-year-old daughter Veronica Cica.
The suspect, 22-year-old Todd Bolden, Jr., is being held without bond in the Calhoun County Jail after being charged with two counts of murder and carrying a firearm while committing a crime.
Police had gone to the home in the 600 block of Algonquin Street earlier in the day for a report of a fight and vandalism, but the suspect had left before they arrived.
Bolden came back around 6 p.m. and allegedly then opened fire.
