KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Township Police Department has announced the arrest and arraignment of a suspect wanted in a shooting incident on May 30th.
Officers were summoned to an address in the 1900 block of Colgrove Ave at around 2:00 pm, on a report of shots being fired into a door of an apartment.
Upon arrival, they discovered the bullet holes, and determined that the resident of the apartment was uninjured.
Subsequent investigation by the Department, with assistance from the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team, and tips received from the public, led to the arrest of a suspect on Friday, June 7th.
18 year old Cameron Shaundell Wilson was charged with four felony counts, including 2 counts of felony firearm.
Wilson was arraigned on June 7th, with bond set at 100 thousand dollars, and remains lodged in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
