– The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) and the City of Kalamazoo are inviting residents to join a community conversation to discuss a plan to address mobile nuisance parties in 2021 and beyond. -Branch County seniors are being offered free tax preparation thanks to a partnership between the Burnside Center and Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan’s Heartland. -Officials at the Coach Floyd Eby Youth and Family Center say they are grateful for the abundant community support they got while they operated an Emergency Warming Center over the last couple of weeks.
– A three step process to hire a new Branch County 911 Director was brought forward to next Tuesday’s meeting by the Branch County Board of Commissioners during their work session on Thursday. The process is expected to start later this month. County Administrator Bud Norman is anticipating up to 50 applicants for the position.
