MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A reward is being offered after nearly $100,000 worth of damage was done to 15 vehicles at Cole Chrysler Jeep Dodge near Marshall. Thieves stole screens, radios, and navigation systems through the cars.
General Manager D.J. Salby says they’ll get the damage repaired and it looks the thieves targeted electronics.
The dealership is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to arrests. Salby believes they were hit by experienced thieves sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday morning. Extreme Chrysler in Jackson County was also hit in the same fashion the same night, with 33 cars broken into.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department is asking that if anyone was in the area of the dealership on West Michigan Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night and 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning and saw anything suspicious to call them at 269-781-0880.
