STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – Four people, including two children, were injured Thursday morning when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Featherstone and Shimmel Roads.
Michigan State Police say the accident happened just before 8:00 a.m. and the drivers were two women from Sturgis.
They say an east bound pickup failed to stop for the stop sign and was struck by a south bound passenger car.
A 6 year old girl was flown from the scene by AirCare with possible head injuries. Both drivers and an 11 year old boy were all transported by Life Care Ambulance.
The Tri-Township Fire Department and St. Joseph County Animal Control assisted at the scene.
