BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Both a Battle Creek man and his wife required treatment after a domestic assault was called into 911-dispatch just after midnight Saturday morning.
Today the husband is in jail facing assault with intent to murder charges.
When police arrived at the home in the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive to investigate reports of a suicidal man, they found him suffering from suffering from several injuries and they also found his wife had been beaten.
Both were taken to Bronson Battle Creek for treatment.
He was later released and booked at the Calhoun County Jail.
