KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County Commissioners have announced a couple of important dates coming up.
The first day that the Kalamazoo County ID cards will be issued has been set for Thursday May 3rd.
The program is a few months late in starting because of logistical issues.
One of its main sponsors, Commissioner Tracy Hall says they are setting up a special office for it at the County Building on Kalamazoo Avenue.
There will be a ten dollar fee for the new County I.D., which won’t do everything a driver’s license will, but it will do more than having no identification.
It was also announced last night that the County Health Department will be moving from its current location on the old Nazareth College Campus to new digs on Alcott Street at the end of July and will open at the new location the first week in August.
