JACKSON, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Fans of the Pac-Man games will be excited to know that a new Pac-Man themed arcade has opened in Jackson.
Towards the end of November, Pac-Man Zone opened inside the Jackson Crossing mall. The games featured are a mix of classic games, as well as more modern ones. Prize machines are also featured.
For prizes, points are recorded with a card system, rather than using paper tickets. This makes it easier to save account information for regular players.
Private events such as birthday parties can also be reserved in rooms at the new arcade.
Future plans for the arcade include a visit by a Pac-Man mascot, plus an expansion into Ann Arbor. Officials say this is part of an ongoing arcade expansion by BANDAI NAMCO.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
More information can be found at the official Facebook page.
