KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for suspects after an intricate store robbery in the city’s Milwood Neighborhood.
It happened at the Dollar General Store on Portage Street sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
According to MLive, authorities say a hole was cut in the store roof and at least one thief lowered themselves inside, broke into a safe, and took off with about $3,000 in cash.
They’re now working to obtain surveillance footage and a possible suspect description. No other information has been released at this time.
The Dollar General is reportedly closed until Monday.
