AUBURN HILLS, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Pistons have signed rookie forward Henry Ellenson to a multi-year contract. Ellenson, out of Marquette, was selected by Detroit with the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft.
As a freshman with the Golden Eagles, he averaged 17 points and 9.7 rebounds in 33 games last year and was named Big East Rookie of the Year.
Ellenson started five games in the Orlando Summer League and averaged 12.4 points and 7.4 rebounds.
