DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Pistons welcome the San Antonio Spurs to Little Caesars Arena tonight. They are coming off a 110-105 home loss to the Jazz on Saturday.
The Pistons have lost four of their last five games to fall to 17-and-20. They have just four wins in their last 17 games.
Tom Thibodeau is out as head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Thibodeau, who also serves as team president, was fired on Sunday shortly after Minnesota’s win over the Lakers. Thibodeau compiled a 97-and-107 record with the T’wolves since taking over in 2016.
Minnesota advanced to the postseason once under Thibodeau and was eliminated in the first round.
Ryan Saunders, son of the late Flip Saunders, will serve as interim coach.
