BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a house fire in Battle Creek.
Firefighters were called to the Clay Street residence near Elm Street before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A 39-year-old mother, her 16-year-old son and her nine-year-old daughter were not home at the time of the blaze. No injuries were reported.
A damage estimate has not been released.
