An RBI single by Tyler Collins and a 2 run RBI double by Bryan Holiday Detroit finished off Cleveland 8-1. Cleveland’s only run of the contest come off a solo shot by Brandon Moss off the glove of Detroit’s Yoenis Cespedes. J.D. Martinez hitting streak is now up to 8 games. Detroit’s Alfredo Simon (7-3) gets the win going 5 innings with 3 hits and 5 K’s, Cleveland’s Corey Kluber gets loss (3-8) going 5 innings allowing 2 runs wih 2 K’s.
