BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A Michigan State Police traffic stop in Branch County has resulted in nearly a dozen charges, including several felony counts, being brought against a White Pigeon man. 41-year old Ross Sullivan was pulled over late Wednesday night because of a loud exhaust on U.S. 12 near Himebaugh Road in Bronson Township. State Police say Sullivan had an open beer in the vehicle but that was just for starters. Troopers said they located packaged methamphetamine, synthetic narcotics, digital scales, and a loaded 22-caliber revolver with the serial numbers ground off.
He was also booked on a parole violation, OUIL third offense and faces his seventh charge of driving with a suspended license and two counts of resisting arrest.
Bond for Sullivan at Thursday’s arraignment was set at $200,000 with his next appearance in District Court scheduled for May 5, 2015.
