CALHOUN COUNTY (WKZO) — Three people were scorched when a methamphetamine lab exploded right in front of them Sunday afternoon in a home in Calhoun County’s Burlington Township.
Police were called when a man and two women showed up at the emergency room at Bronson Battle Creek suffering from flash burns.
A 45-year-old man with the most severe burns to his hands and face was transferred to the Burn Unit in Kalamazoo. Two women, aged 42 and 27 were treated for burns to their legs and hands and released.
Calhoun County Deputies obtained a search warrant and found evidence of a meth lab and finished meth. Charges are pending.
