KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — They will be making repairs of their own at the Monro Auto Repair shop in the 2900 block of Stadium Drive after a vehicle that was being fixed there caught fire in one of the service bays at around 3 p.m. Saturday.
Kalamazoo Public Safety was able to put out the flames in about 15 minutes.
All the employees of the shop were able to evacuate the building safely. No injuries were reported.
Insurance adjusters will be assessing the damage.
