GALESBURG, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night that injured a woman who was on a bicycle.
The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. on West Michigan Avenue near South Grant Street in the city of Galesburg.
The woman is hospitalized and recovering from her injuries.
Police say witnesses described the vehicle that hit her, along with the license plate, and it was found in the city of Kalamazoo. The driver was arrested.
Deputies say speed and alcohol are both believed to have been factors.
No names have been released.
