KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Protesters turned up outside Congressman Fred Upton’s Kalamazoo Field Office to oppose his vote for tax reform, and to urge him to vote against it when the conference committee returns with their final proposal.
Two Democratic Congressional candidates appeared at the Monday afternoon rally.
In fact Eponine Garrod helped organize it. She calls the legislation a “monstrosity” that Upton should not have voted for.
Dr. Matt Longjohn says Upton may profit from this, but his constituents won’t.
Upton tells us he hopes the package coming out Conference Committee will be better than the two packages that went in.
Their goal is to get it to the President by Christmas.
