OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Deputies say an armed man that robbed an Oshtemo Township bank may be the same suspect in two other robberies.
The robber, who is considered armed and dangerous, entered the Chemical Bank on West Main Street around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, pulled out a gun, demanded cash, and fled on foot before getting into a vehicle farther away.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies believe the same man may be the suspect that robbed a Citgo gas station in Texas Township on Friday and possibly responsible for a Battle Creek robbery that same day.
Surveillance photos show the slender white man hid his identity with a black bandana covering his mouth and head, sunglasses, and dark clothing as he pulled a handgun out of his waistband.
Nobody was injured in any incident.
Anyone with information on any robbery or the suspect’s whereabouts should contact the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office or Silent Observer.
