COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Savannah Taylor and Cameron Victor were crowned as the 2018 Branch County Fair Queen and King Sunday night at the Dearth Community Center.
Taylor is the daughter of Lee and Amy Taylor of Colon and a 12-year member of 4-H while currently belonging to the Mudsock 4-H Club. A 6-year member of the FFA, her activities include the 4-H Proud Equestrian Program, Michigan 4-H State Youth Leadership Council and Branch County 4-H Leaders’ Council. Savanah plans on attending the University of Findlay to double major in criminal justice and western equestrian programs.
Victor is from Coldwater and is the son of Shalimar Victor. Cameron is a nine-year member of the 4-H Superstars and BACC FFA. His major 4-H projects are poultry and swine and he plans to attend Southwestern Michigan College to study agribusiness.
Serving on the court will be Bryce Bucklin, Annie Lehman and Merannda Russell.
In addition to being named King and Queen, both winners will received a $500 scholarship. The remaining court members will each get a $250 scholarship courtesy of Chemical Bank, Clemens Food Group and the Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
