PARCHMENT (WKZO AM/FM) — The Parchment School Board has made it official and selected Jason Misner as the new Superintendent. He will replace Matthew Miller, who is retiring.
Misner has already gotten an early test, helping the community by providing the High School as the initial site of the bottled water distribution point and working with the DEQ to make sure that all the school’s water systems have been thoroughly and properly flushed.
He says they are keeping the public updated on their website.
He says getting the system switched over to Kalamazoo city water and approved for human consumption before school begins next week was their goal.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to be chosen to serve our students, families, staff, and community as superintendent,” Misner said. “I am excited to get to work and look forward to strengthening relationships in our schools and community. Parchment is a phenomenal place to grow and learn and I am extremely appreciative for the opportunity.”
