BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — It was a fad for a while to have urban paintball wars, started by the Rapper “21 Savage” who thought he could curb urban violence by replacing real guns with paintball guns.
Since last spring, it resulted in at least two deaths and multiple arrests across the nation.
Three more arrests were made this past weekend in Battle Creek.
Three cousins who apparently thought it might be fun if they drove around perpetrating drive-by shootings with paint-balls, now face felony aggravated assault counts.
One of their victims on Post Avenue gave a description of the vehicle to police, who spotted them on Washington Avenue on Saturday and made the bust.
