CAMDEN, MI (WTVB) – A Camden man was killed Tuesday afternoon when his vehicle struck a tree in Hillsdale County’s Camden Township.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 49-year-old Michael Scott Fitch was traveling on Camden Road near Todd Road at about 4:43 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle which than ran off the road and hit a tree.
Fitch was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the accident.
Deputies were assisted by firefighters from Camden and Montgomery as well as the Reading Emergency Unit.
