KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – The weather is being blamed for the death of a 46-year-old Centreville man along I-94 in Kalamazoo on Friday afternoon.
Portage Public Safety says the man was changing lanes near the Westnedge exit when he lost control of his F-250 pick-up and slammed into the end of a guardrail. He was thrown from the vehicle and killed.
A 34-year-old Three Rivers woman who was riding in the truck was injured but was expected to survive. She was admitted to Bronson Methodist.
Names are being withheld pending notification of family.
Two lanes of the interstate were shut down for four hours for the investigation into the crash.
