CASSOPOLIS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash between a car and a motorcycle in Cass County.
It happened near the intersection of U.S. 12 and Baldwin Prairie in Porter Township around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators say that a 16-year-old driver was pulling out onto the road from a driveway when the car they were driving was struck by motorcyclist Tyler Hershberger of Three Rivers. The 25 year old was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials report that seatbelts were worn and that Hershberger was wearing a helmet.
