BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN) – Three suspects were arrested with no shots fired, after an armed robbery in Emmett Township Sunday.
Emmett Township officers were dispatched to the Dollar General store at 2420 E. Columbia Ave, on an armed robbery call. Police say one of the suspects pointed a gun at the clerk and after receiving an undisclosed amount of money, left the store and they fled the scene on foot.
While establishing a perimeter, an officer with the Battle Creek Police Department located two suspects and they were taken into custody without incident.
Detectives with the Emmett Township Department of Public Safety were called in to assist and during the subsequent investigation, learned that there were additional suspects involved in the complaint.
In total, three individuals were arrested for armed robbery and a warrant request has been submitted on the fourth person.
Names of the suspects have not been released until they are arraigned.
