Julie Anne -Joyful, jolly and a whole lot of fun!

Julie Anne’s journey to radio didn’t begin with dreams of microphones, studios or being an on-air personality. Julie Anne felt led to walk the streets of Battle Creek, Michigan, praying for the city with no idea at the time where those prayers would lead. Julie Anne began her radio career at an AM station in Battle Creek. In 2015 she brought plenty of energy to the morning show as the Donut Delivery Street Stop Girl! Then Hymntyme. The show has a remarkable history stretching all the way back to the 1970s. Some of today’s listeners grew up hearing Hymntime and have been listening since they were babies. Julie Anne considers it a privilege to carry that tradition forward while filling the airwaves with Southern Gospel, bluegrass, special guests, laughter, encouragement and plenty of joy.

Her message is simple: Trust God. Watch God. Know God.

For Julie Anne, Hymntime is an opportunity to share that hope through the music she loves. Whether it’s a Southern Gospel favorite, some great bluegrass, a special guest dropping by the studio or a song like I Trust in God that speaks directly to her heart, she wants listeners to leave Sunday’s show encouraged and smiling.

Away from the microphone, Julie Anne’s life is centered around faith and family. She is married to her handsome husband, John, helps care for her mother-in-law and is raising her granddaughter.
