COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Webberville, Michigan man was booked at the Branch County Jail on Monday after he allegedly tried to run over a Coldwater Police officer last week.
21-year-old John Wilson O’Donnell-Miller was booked on three charges including Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Assaulting and Resisting a Police Officer.
Coldwater Police say the alleged incident happened last Thursday following a shoplifting investigation at the Meijer store. They say O’Donnell-Miller, who was with another person at the time, allegedly drove his vehicle towards the officer in the store parking lot before he fled from the scene.
